Hi! My name is Dan Hicks and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.

 

Together we will look beneath the surface to discover your strengths and make a plan to take on the challenges you are facing in life.  I am especially equipped to help adolescents, individuals and marriages.  I have been married for 41 years and have three children ages 38,36,32.

 

My many years of working with teens, individuals, couples, as a pastor, counselor and coach have prepared me to come alongside individuals and families to help them deal with the many obstacles and challenges facing us today.

 

Speciality areas include marriage and family issues, sexual abuse trauma, individuals with childhood trauma, dissociative disorders, and those looking for spiritual faith based counseling.  I also have extensive experience working with high school and college athletes to increase sports performance. Counseling can be very helpful to young athletes to deal with fears, self-esteem and competition issues.
